and life of the soil, attracting and supporting essential life into each
landscape, reducing erosion control, and slowing the flow of stormwater to
allow it to be absorbed into the soil.
· Watershed wisdom recommends native and low-water use
plants that are better suited to our local climate and conditions. Rain
gardens, bioswales, and other water sequestration features that filter
rainfall, irrigation and storm water through nourished healthy soils are
featured in landscapes on the tour.
