October 6, 2017 at 11:00 am:
Come get dirty this Friday when Sacramento's Organic Advocate Steven Zien with Living Resources Company will be speaking to the Organic Gardening Club of Sacramento at the Carmichael Park and Recreation Building, 5740 Grant Ave. The subject of this dirty talk (yet child and grownup friendly) will be "It's All About Your Soil." Learn about a few of the key critters that dwell in your soil and the important role they play in plant health. Discover how to create and manage a healthy "living" soil that will yield healthy, drought and pest resistant plants. It's a dirty world so get out there and accumulate some soil life under your finger and toe nails.
