River-Friendly Green Gardener Training for Landscape Professionals Module #3 “Plants in theCalifornia Landscape” will teach participants how to choose, site, and care for plants to create and maintain successful landscapes.

Thursday Nov. 2, 6-8:30 pm covers Right Plant, Right Place
Thursday Nov. 9 6-8:30 pm covers Integrated Pest Management
Saturday Nov. 18 9-11:30 am covers Pruning for Plant Health and Structure (include hand-on)
All three classes will be held at Howe Park, 2201 Cottage Way, Sacramento, CA

"Plants in the CA Landscape"  can be taken as a stand-alone course; however, it is one of three in the complete Green Gardener Training for Landscape Professionals course. The other two were offered in September and October 2017. Completion of all three modules is required to become a Qualified Green Gardener.   All three modules will be offered again in early 2018.

Continuing education units will be offered.
